What an amazing time in Springfield!  A nice drive, beautiful hotel, going back to the 80's and listening to the Brat Pack.  Some enjoyed workshops such as Women & Heart Disease, Overindulging Kids, Cyber Bullying.  Of course there was also a great Vendor Room, Raffle Room and Spa Room....what else could a Mother Of Twins ask for!

"For me the speaker about over indulging your child was wonderful.  So much information and so little time for discussion.  Discussed were ways to stop behaviors(sending to bed 5 minutes early for bad behaviors, removing items that they love).    Also, the band was great!!!!"  -Erin

My absolute favorite of the weekend was the Friday night event and dancing to the Brat Pack!  They were amazing!!!  It was obvious how much fun everyone had!  Our club president Tabetha, really rocked it out!!  Cathy Hughes, the convention chairperson, was so exhausted after all the preparation for convention, she had to sit down in the middle of the dance floor...LOL!!  And I rocked it out with Sandy Hamilton and MaryAnn Utley.  It was a night we will all remember!  Well....at least the parts we can remember...Ha Ha!
A couple of my other favorites were the Spa room and the hospitality room.  It was great to enjoy a nice chair massage and I am ready for another one!  The hospitality room had lots of good food and was a great place to stop for a snack and socialize with other clubs!!  Becky
